✅ Steps for proper sizing
1️⃣Tool preparation
Scissors, ruler, ≤ 5 mm wide cardboard strip (or professional rope ruler)
Recommended to use e.g.: (paper strip/tape measure)
Prohibit the use of elastic materials such as: (rubber bands)
2️⃣Twisting and Positioning
👉 Wrap the strip of paper around the widest part of the knuckle (where the ring must go through).
Pull the strip of paper tight until the skin is slightly indented (key action!) .
⚠️ Consequences of incorrect operation
If you do not tighten the instrument (paper strip/string rule) when measuring, the finger muscles will naturally relax:
→ The measurement is 0.5 to 1.5 yards larger than the actual size.
→ The ring slips off easily when worn.
💡 Simulates the looseness and tightness of the ring when it is worn, the size after muscle stretching is the real size
3️⃣ Marking the intersections
Draw vertical lines to mark where the strips of paper overlap (make sure the ends are parallel)
